Today’s post is all about UGG – they are everywhere, and it seems they’re here to stay since the new styles were released in 2022. This trend took an epic jump when celebrities like Bella Hadid started incorporating them into their winter outfits. Naturally, all the influencers followed suit, and the rest is history. Even I, who once said I’d never wear UGG, got caught up in the trend!
Honestly, all the new styles were cute, and I had a difficult time picking the right style and color since they came out in various stunning options. However, my ultimate favorites were the UGG Tazz, which were released in 2023. I wanted something easy to style, comfy, and practical, so I convinced myself that these slippers were exactly what I needed.
Before ordering mine, I read a bunch of reviews because some people had issues with the sizing. I ordered one size up following the recommendations, and yes, I can confirm that these cute slippers run small. I really enjoy wearing and styling them, so I started checking out two other styles because why not?
Two weeks later, I was styling the Classic Mini UGG and the Ultra Mini. Yes, I ordered both because I couldn’t decide which would suit me better. After much hesitation, I decided to keep both! Yes, I know – it’s a lot for someone who used to basically hate them.
Now that I’ve had the opportunity to wear and style all of them, let’s see what I really think about each one:
Tazz
Advantages:
- In my experience, this model is the easiest to wear.
- They’re perfect with cropped jeans, wide-leg pants, skirts, and leggings.
- They’re easy to put on and take off.
- Very elegant and cozy.
Disadvantages:
- Not the best shoes for long walks.
- They run small, so you need to go up a size in this style.
- You need to buy a waterproofing spray.
- They’re out of stock almost everywhere, so you probably have to pay more than the retail price and hunt them down to get them.
Ultra mini
Advantages:
- Very cute and elegant.
- Goes well with thick socks, leggings, long dresses, and long skirts.
- The platform is higher.
- They are very warm and cozy.
- They are true to size.
Disadvantages:
- They are a little difficult to put on.
- They can be difficult to style.
- They are not easy to walk in.You need to buy a waterproofing spray.
- They don’t go well with cropped jeans.
Classic Mini
Advantages:
- They’re perfect with leggings and wide-leg pants or jeans.
- They’re very warm and cozy.
- The platform is higher for a bolder style.
- They’re perfect with thick cream socks.
- They are true to size.
Disadvantages :
- They are difficult to put on.
- Difficult to style.
- They are not easy to walk on.
- You need to buy a waterproofing product.
- They don’t look great with cropped jeans.
- They’re a bit bulky.
Style tip:
Since the Ultra mini or mini Uggs platforms are a little bulkier, it’s best to wear an oversized coat or sweater to balance out your look.
