As many other gals reaching their forties, I think skincare is a top priority. However, it has been difficult for me to find products that I would like to keep forever. I’m always looking for a better product and it’s easier to think that way since the options are endless.
However, it’s been two months since I started incorporating Lancôme’s Advanced Génifique line into my morning and night skincare routine. I’m very satisfied and surprised by the results, so maybe this time I feel I can stick with these products for a while.
Another thing I like about all of them is their presentation. I don’t know about you, but I like the practicality, and I also don’t like having to stick my finger in a yard to get a product, as it’s not very hygienic from my point of view, so product applicators are a big decision marker for me.
Being a big skincare junkie, I try to reduce the amount of skincare products to save time and create less waste, so I’m now incorporating products that I can use for my day and night routine without altering the results.
Keep in mind that all these products are absorbed very quickly, so you don’t get a heavy or dry feeling on your skin, which I don’t like to feel when I’m preparing my skin before make-up or bedtime.
- Advanced Génifique Facial Serum: this serum works incredibly well on my skin. It feels more luminous and smooth. The applicator is very nice, in fact when you take it out it is already filled with the right amount of product you need for your face and neck. Honestly, one of the best serums I have used so far.
- Advanced Génifique eye serum: I love this eye serum. Since I’ve been using it I can see an improvement in my under eye area, my skin is definitely less dry. Also, it can be applied on the lashes to strengthen them. Also, the applicator has a metal bead which is great for massaging the whole area and providing a real boost and comfort to the whole zone.
- Lancôme Hydrazen Glow Moisturizer 50ml: Here I’m opting for the large version because of the presentation as the small one comes in a yard. This facial moisturizer for day and night is a must-have.
- Tonique Confort by Lancôme: one of its ingredients is hyaluronic acid, perfect for restoring skin elasticity. Since I’ve been using it, I’ve noticed that it soothes and brightens my skin. Moreover, I also use it on my neck and it feels softer.
At the moment I’m looking for a night eye cream and I’ve already tried a sample of Lancôme’s Advanced Genefique Repairing Night Cream and I have to say I really like it, although it doesn’t have a bump dispenser, so I’ll probably have to use an espatula to avoid sticking my finger inside.
