Glam Meets Utility: A Fresh Take on Cargo Pants

Hey there,

In today’s post, I want to express my love for cargo pants and glitter. Yes, I’m a girly girl who adores the glam and fun aspect of glitter. If it’s linked to Chanel, I’ll be obsessed forever, which is why I’m madly in love with my Chanel slingback flats. Let’s dive right into this outfit, so keep reading!

First of all, find a white button-down shirt—this is an essential piece. You need to find one and grab it, but make sure it’s oversized for a more contemporary and chic look. Mine is from Zara, and I have to tell you, this shirt is an amazing find. I love the shape, and it’s 100% cotton, so there you have it, and you can thank me later.

Next stop, cargo pants in khaki. This color is another basic for cargo pants. Believe me, they will add another dimension to your outfit. This shade of green is so chic and goes with literally everything. These cargos are from Zara, and they were on sale for 15 bucks—best bargain ever!

Now, let’s talk about the statement piece: the shoes. For this look, I chose my beloved Chanel slingback flats in silver. These shoes are too perfect to be true, period. However, I truly believe that cargo pants look better with kitten heels, pumps, high heels—you name it—but these flats are quite elegant and super feminine, so they do the job as well. The idea is to break down the masculine allure of the cargo pants.

On top of that, I added another basic: an oversized denim jacket in a light blue shade that brings this street style, edgy look we’re going for. This one is from Pull and Bear, such an excellent find.

Last but not least, the bag. For this occasion, I opted for my Chanel mini rectangular in bubblegum pink with silver hardware, which matches my shoes. A fun bag for an outfit like this is the way to go since all the colors are kind of neutral, so a pop of color is necessary to stand out and make a statement.

As I always say, jewelry plays an important role in any outfit, so try to mix it up and wear your favorite pieces. In this case, I wanted something simpler since there’s already a lot going on, so layering a few light chains and bracelets is the perfect choice.

What do you think? Would you combine cargo pants with glitter pumps?
