Leopard print is everywhere this season, but for me, it’s nothing new. I’ve always embraced animal prints in my wardrobe, and leopard has long been my favorite. So today, I want to take a closer look at my not-so-new Sézane Matilda leather/pony hair flats.
These ballerinas completely stole my heart. They instantly elevate any simple and casual outfit, becoming the statement piece without trying too hard. When styling leopard or any bold print, I like to keep the rest of my outfit neutral so that my shoes remain the focal point. My go-to combo? A white tee paired with cropped Levi’s 501 light-wash jeans. If it’s chilly, I throw on an oversized camel trench—timeless, effortless, and endlessly chic.
Comfort
These flats are quite comfortable, though they did feel a bit stiff on the first day. However, they broke in quickly and now fit like a glove. If you’re worried about initial discomfort, I’d recommend wearing them with a bandage or protective padding on pressure points for the first few wears.
Sizing
In my experience, the Matilda flats fit true to size. I’m typically a 37, and I went with my usual size, which fits perfectly.
