Summer Workwear, Reinvented

Hello there,

Today’s post is all about the perfect workwear outfit for those of us who still need to head into the office during summer. No worries—this look is easy to put together, incredibly chic, and totally weather-appropriate. The key is to stick with classic corporate pieces, but wear them in a modern and breathable way. Think lighter fabrics and fresh, airy colors—ditch the dark tones, even in your accessories, to instantly refresh your entire outfit.

For this look, I kept it simple and timeless. I chose an oversized baby blue button-down shirt with white stripes—a wardrobe staple. Honestly, everyone should own at least one striped shirt. Not only are they effortlessly chic, but they also work year-round to add subtle pattern and polish. I must admit, I’m a stripes addict—I can always find an excuse to add another to my closet, no matter the season.

On the bottom, I paired it with one of my most-worn pieces: my white balloon baggy jeans from Zara. They’re super flattering thanks to their relaxed barrel shape and look good on pretty much everyone. Combining the oversized shirt with baggy denim gives this timeless combo a fresh, modern twist that’s both comfortable and put-together.

For shoes, I went with a recent favorite: metallic gold braided ballerinas from Zara. These are a dream—airy, elegant, and right on trend. Ballet flats are definitely having a moment, and I love how they instantly elevate a casual outfit. Metallics, especially in summer, are a great way to add visual interest and still blend with everything.

To finish the look, I carried my Nano Noé bag from Louis Vuitton. It’s probably the cutest piece in my entire collection! Even though I also own the old version, I couldn’t resist the mini—it’s lightweight, stylish, and just roomy enough for the essentials. When it’s hot out, bulky bags are a no-go for me. And of course, I added some chunky jewelry for a bold but polished final touch.

So, what do you think—would you reinvent your go-to work outfits with a summer twist?
